On January 2016 I started a one month collective mapping project. I invited people to map their feelings. "Do you feel good? Bad? Where are you right now and why do you feel like this?" The aim of this project was to understand how we were connected via our emotions while living our lives in separate countries.

I will try to demonstrate why the most common technique that is used to map femicide can misrepresent the magnitude of the issue and I will propose an alternative way to map these murders to overcome this misrepresentation.

Turkey, a country that is under state of emergency, held a constitutional referendum on 16 April 2017. The legitimacy of this referendum had been discussed in various reports and in national and international media. The following maps and visualisations demonstrate the observed violations and pressures during the 2017 referendum in Turkey.
